Randi Kemper and Hefa Tuita are a teaching and choreography team. Randi grew up in Colorado, training in all styles of dance, and started her professional dance career when she booked a world tour as a backup dancer at the age of 16. Hefa grew up in Utah, also training in all styles of dance, and booked his first dance job at 15 years old as a featured dancer in High School Musical 2 and High School Musical 3.
It’s safe to say they were both encouraged to pursue a professional dance career from a young age. They continued their careers over the next decade working for some of the biggest artists in the industry. Between the two of them, they have danced for Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Brown, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Ne-Yo, Ciara, and more. They have performed on several impressive stages from the Super Bowl to the Grammys. Their choreography has been featured on two seasons of So You Think You Can Dance and numerous episodes of Ellen.
Music videos, world tours, movies, commercials, and television were influential moments in both Randi and Hefa’s careers. The most gratifying, however, has been the opportunity to teach. Together, Randi and Hefa travel worldwide teaching dancers of all ages. They are faculty on 24 Seven Dance Convention, teach in-house at dance studios around the world, and have been seen teaching at Millennium Dance Complex, Playground LA, and Movement Lifestyle in Los Angeles, California.
